Apple IIe to IIGS Upgrade - Page 2

Page 1 - Page 2 - Page 3

Top view of the computer. This is probably the cleanest, most cherry IIe-to-IIGS Upgrade to date. The IIe was a non-enhanced model, which is why the keyboard has white lettering. Another front view. Right side view.
Back view. NOTE: The power supply you see in this photo was later replaced with a IIGS power supply. Left side view. Keyboard view. Very clean!
Photo of the top cover. Not a single scratch. No yellowing either!  Photo of the logic board. This is a ROM01 version. with the soldered on battery. The power supply you see in this photo was later replaced with a IIGS power supply. Photo of the power connection. As you can see, the IIe-to-IIGS Upgrade is designed to handle either a IIe or IIGS power supply.
Photo of the keyboard connection, IIe keyboard style. Also note the red connector to the left, which is the numeric keypad. Both of these connectors are lacking on later versions of the ROM01 logic board, and it's quite rare to find a ROM00 or ROM01 logic board with them. Also included in this collection is the original Apple IIe Case Replacement Kit box. The box, unfortunately, about 1/3 of the box is water logged. Bottom view of the box.
View of the good side of the box. Another side view of the box. Major water stains on the side. View of the water logged side.
Last side of the box. The mailing label used to deliver from Apple to the Apple dealer. Being water logged, it weakened one corner of the box.
